Overview

The Director of Strategic Finance at 1Password is responsible for the company’s consolidated financial plan, forecasts, and reporting cadence. This role serves as the primary finance partner for key organizational areas, focusing on the company’s operational strategy while driving towards public-company readiness. 1Password, a leading cybersecurity company, aims to create a secure and productive digital future for over 180,000 businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Own the consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecast, and long-range planning.
Develop and implement Corporate Finance’s annual objectives aligned with strategic goals.
Lead key strategic initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and improve reporting standards.
Establish and manage KPIs while ensuring alignment with performance metrics.
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive collective outcomes and align initiatives with organizational priorities.
Oversee the planning stack and associated processes for accuracy and integration.

Requirements

8+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in SaaS or cybersecurity.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
Proven track record in enhancing forecast accuracy and effective planning in high-growth environments.
Solid experience in corporate FP&A, analysis of unit economics, and cloud cost structures.
Experience with IPO processes or operations in a recently public company.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
Capability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in leading strategic department initiatives in dynamic environments.
