Engineering Manager, AI @Lattice

Overview

Lattice is seeking an Engineering Manager for their AI team to lead the development of an AI Platform that empowers all AI teams at the company. This role requires building trustworthy and measurable AI systems to enhance product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of AI and software engineers.
• Own the execution and delivery of the AI Platform roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and engineering leaders on AI quality measurement.
• Develop AI evaluation infrastructure, quality metrics, and experimentation capabilities.
• Drive decisions to improve scalability, reliability, and adoption of the AI Platform.
• Establish strong partnerships and influence engineering strategy for AI development.

Requirements

• Experience leading high-performing software engineering teams and developing technical leaders.
• Strong technical background in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, or developer platforms.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS AI products focused on quality and scalability.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong product and platform mindset balancing customer impact and technical investments.
• Curiosity, humility, and a passion for continuous learning and development.
