    About the ECMJA

    The ECMJA is a 4-week online course organized by Beyond Climate Collaborative, in partnership with Climate Outreach, the Climate and Migration Coalition, and Youth and Environment Europe.

    The course aims to fill gaps in climate mobility research, policy, and practice in Europe, emphasizing critical, decolonial perspectives and justice.

    Course Structure

    • State of Climate Mobility in Europe: Current Data and Research
    • Understanding the Politics of Climate Mobility in Europe: Policy and Narratives
    • Interactive workshops and reflection exercises
    • Expert lectures and case studies
    • Personal workbook for reflection

    Learning Approach

    Learner-centered, interactive, participative, and community-focused.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the organization of the 4-week online course.
    • Liaise with course facilitators, speakers, and participants.
    • Support registration, communication, and logistical arrangements.

    • Ensure smooth delivery of live sessions and workshops.
    • Promote an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
    • Assist in managing participant engagement and feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in course coordination, event management, or educational program delivery.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Knowledge of climate mobility, environmental policy, or social justice topics is desirable.
    • Familiarity with online platforms (Zoom, learning management systems).
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
