Fraud Operations Associate @Brex

Overview

Brex is seeking a Fraud Operations Associate to manage operations related to fraud within their Intelligent Finance Platform. This role will be critical in improving the company's ability to scale and make informed, risk-based decisions regarding fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and work on associate level queues assigned to the Fraud Operations team.
• Develop and implement scalable operational processes for fraud management.
• Make risk-based decisions on high-value/risk transactions and account offboardings.
• Achieve company-level goals around financial fraud losses.
• Respond to escalations related to fraud and streamline operational workflows.
• Conduct root cause analysis for fraud incidents and address inefficiencies.
• Take ownership of projects on the Fraud Ops roadmap.
• Partner with various teams to improve fraud management tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a fraud, risk, or related operations role.
• 1+ year of experience leading projects or workstreams end to end.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team on projects.
