    Overview

    Front Line Defenders is seeking a Digital Protection Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to support human rights defenders (HRDs) and organizations (HROs) at risk.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct digital protection support tailored to the needs of HRDs and HROs in the MENA region.
    • Conduct training sessions and capacity-building activities.
    • Assess digital security risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain expertise in digital security issues relevant to the region.
    • Support HRDs and HROs in strengthening their digital resilience.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in providing digital security and protection support to HRDs and HROs in the MENA region.
    • Ability to conduct training and capacity-building in an accessible, understandable manner.
    • Strong knowledge of digital security tools, threats, and mitigation strategies.
    • Demonstrable regional technical knowledge and awareness.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

    Benefits

    Salary: €35,882 – €66,040

    Location

    MENA region (Remote)
