Overview

Magellan AI is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their team of engineers. The role involves launching major new features and enhancing the core product using modern coding practices and AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Add new features to the Ruby on Rails application from top to bottom.
• Direct AI coding agents through problem framing and solution review.
• Increase system and code quality through TDD and refactoring.
• Document design specifications and architecture decisions.
• Extend tooling for team workflows and agent interactions.
• Build AI-facing product surfaces with necessary authentication and logging.
• Enhance usability of existing features using Turbo/Stimulus.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and simplify system designs.
• Provide operational support for bug resolution and system maintenance.
• Participate in internal hackathons for feature enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Agile web development practices including TDD and refactoring.
• Ability to work with AI coding agents.
• Strong writing skills for documentation and specifications.
