Overview
Global Fund for Children is seeking a Global People and Culture Senior Manager to strengthen its global People & Culture function as the organization expands. This role will oversee core HR functions, systems, and processes across different regions to ensure best practices in staff experience, compliance, and equitable support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core HR processes including contracts, documentation, and compliance.
- Lead the development and implementation of HRIS solutions and workflows.
- Oversee relationships with PEOs/EORs, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
- Advise on and develop P&C policies and procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff and managers on routine HR matters.
- Support managers with tools and templates for supervisory responsibilities.
- Manage and oversee various People & Culture initiatives, including culture-building, staff engagement, wellbeing, and DEIA efforts.
- Continuously improve P&C infrastructure, including regular review and updates of policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding staff as needed.
Requirements
- Significant experience in global P&C operations, preferably within an international NGO.
- Strong understanding of international employment laws, compliance risks, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience managing relationships with PEO/EOR providers.
- Expertise in HR systems management, documentation, workflows, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build trust across cultures and time zones.
- High levels of integrity, tact, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and staff wellbeing.
- Self-reliant, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- HR-related qualifications and/or membership with a recognized HR professional body.
- Familiarity with HRIS tools, digital workflow systems, and change management is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
