Health and Nutrition Supervisor – Zamfara State (Gusau) – PUI Nigeria @Première Urgence Internationale (PUI)

Overview

This position offers an opportunity to lead clinical patient management across integrated health and nutrition services, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary facility teams to deliver patient care.
• Oversee daily facility operations and provide clinical mentorship.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols for continuity of care and health promotion.
• Manage medical and nutrition supply chains to prevent stockouts.
• Ensure proper monitoring of newborns and timely referrals for pregnant women.
• Support health and nutrition staff on case management protocols.
• Evaluate the quality of consultations and provide feedback.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of medical data.
• Plan and conduct training sessions for health staff.
• Participate in recruitment of health personnel as necessary.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and local languages (Hausa preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably an MD or BNSc (nursing degree).
• 1-2 years of experience in clinical management and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of communicable and non-communicable diseases, public health.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and management skills.
