Overview

This position offers an opportunity to work as a MEAL Officer at Oxfam in Kebbi, Nigeria, contributing to the EU-funded SOSAN Project by implementing evaluation and learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of the MELSA system within the EU-SOSAN Project.
Assist in implementing monitoring frameworks to ensure high-quality project performance information.
Manage MELSA processes, including indicator tracking and reporting.
Participate in programme/project planning processes.
Support capacity building for partner organizations and Oxfam staff.
Review partner reports for compliance with Oxfam policies.
Conduct outcome harvesting to track the impact of project interventions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in designing monitoring systems and implementing programs.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical packages like SPSS, STATA, and Excel.
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English.
Ability to work with partner organizations and support their capacity building.
