    Overview

    This role offers an opportunity to contribute to conflict prevention and peacebuilding in Nigeria by accurately reporting data within the National Early Warning System (NEWS).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gather and verify information from various sources to ensure data accuracy.
    • Summarize incidents for databases and support the development of reports on peace and security.
    • Engage community monitors, providing them with feedback and capacity building.
    • Utilize Microsoft Office tools for data management while ensuring confidentiality.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in International Relations, Political Science, Peace & Conflict Studies, Information Technology, Statistics, or related fields.
    • Experience: 1–3 years in data entry and NGO/CSO environments with knowledge of peacebuilding and early warning systems.
    • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with data management systems, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
