Overview
Health Care Without Harm's Practice Greenhealth is seeking a Director of Business Development & Impact to drive network expansion, revenue growth, and mission impact. This leadership role involves overseeing operational functions, managing the full membership lifecycle, and leading a team dedicated to sustainability in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives and establish annual growth targets.
- Design and refine member acquisition and retention strategies, building and maintaining high-level relationships with industry influencers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire member journey—from recruitment to retention and expansion—delivering excellent customer service and managing membership renewal processes.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations and complex sales processes, contributing to setting and achieving annual sales targets and monitoring sales performance.
- Oversee operational functions within the Growth team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data in CRM systems and developing dashboards and KPIs.
- Lead the staffing, training, and performance management of the Growth team.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in consultative sales, business development, or growth strategy, preferably within network or membership organizations.
- Proven success leading teams, managing performance, and mentoring professionals.
- Extensive experience in high-stakes, consultative sales involving complex service agreements, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate organizational strategies into actionable sales plans, using data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled in managing departmental budgets, conducting market research, and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
- Proficient in CRM tools such as Pipedrive or Salesforce; capable of overseeing data integrity and analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Management, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent combined experience and education will be considered.
- Healthcare or sustainability sector experience is highly advantageous.
Benefits
Salary Range: $125,000 – $135,000 annually
