    Overview

    Health Care Without Harm is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Global Communications Consultant to bolster its global outreach efforts. The successful candidate will work remotely to craft compelling programmatic content, particularly focusing on climate change and health.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Programmatic Communications & Narrative Development: Develop engaging narratives and external materials, including press releases, reports, and impact stories, highlighting HCWH’s initiatives and impact.
    • Social Media Management and Content Creation: Lead the development of social media content in English and Spanish, design graphics, draft posts, schedule content, monitor performance, and prepare reports.
    • Website and Platform Management: Assist in managing digital platforms, including updating website content, creating new pages, uploading resources, and tracking analytics.
    • Campaign Support and Outreach: Support the development and deployment of email newsletters and campaigns, craft messaging, design templates, and coordinate dissemination.
    • Collaboration & Project Management: Coordinate with various teams, regional offices, and international partners, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are high quality.

    Requirements

    • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
    • Minimum of three years of experience in communications, preferably within NGO or non-profit sectors.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
    • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
    • Experience with Drupal and MailChimp.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
    • Preferred experience with Moodle.
    • Passionate about climate, health, and environmental issues.
    • Strong storytelling and content creation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and virtually with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.
