Overview
Community Engagement & Social Development Initiative (CESDI) is a reputable non-governmental organization seeking applications for multiple positions aimed at improving the livelihoods of underprivileged communities in Northeast Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Maintain accurate HR records and staff documentation
- Manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and performance systems
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and HR policies
- Administer staff benefits, pensions, and statutory obligations
- Support staff training, development, and capacity-building initiatives
- Provide guidance on HR policies, grievances, and disciplinary processes
- Promote safeguarding practices, including SEAH prevention
- Prepare HR reports and manage staff databases
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience (NGO experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, etc.) is an added advantage
- Experience with INGO systems (e.g., ACF, CARE) is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Fluency in English (Hausa is an added advantage)
