Infrastructure Security Engineer @Blockchain

Overview

Blockchain is a global cryptocurrency company seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to enhance system security across its entire stack. This role involves providing tooling and monitoring to secure both consumer-facing products and institutional offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement security controls, automation, and processes across various environments.
• Identify operational and technical security gaps, propose solutions, and drive initiatives to close them.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Build automated tools and services for secure configurations and continuous compliance.
• Assist in threat modeling, design reviews, and architectural assessments.
• Contribute to internal security documentation and best practices.
• Participate in security incident response, providing engineering expertise as needed.
• Research and safely embed AI utilities and LLM agents into secure infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, platform security, or DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with security controls in cloud environments, preferably GCP or AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, Terraform).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on automation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Cloudflare, SIEM tools, and incident management platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Github Actions, CircleCI) and maintaining HIDS systems.
