Infrastructure Security Engineer @Blockchain

Overview

Blockchain is a leading global crypto company focused on connecting the world to the future of finance. They are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to enhance system security and manage cyber threats, playing a pivotal role in monitoring and protecting their infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement security controls, automation, and processes across various environments.
• Identify and propose solutions for operational and technical security gaps.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop automated tooling for secure configurations and continuous compliance.
• Assist in threat modeling, design reviews, and architectural assessments.
• Contribute to internal security documentation and best practices.
• Participate in security incident response as needed.
• Research and safely implement AI innovations into secure infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, platform security, or DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with security controls in cloud environments (GCP or AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, etc.).
• Ability to translate security requirements into scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and a focus on automation.
• Familiarity with tools like Cloudflare, OSS SIEM, and incident management platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Experience with HIDS systems (preferably Wazuh).
