    Position Overview

    WindEurope is seeking an Innovation & Sustainability Analyst to join its dynamic Innovation team, reporting directly to the Head of Innovation.

    This role is essential in providing data-driven insights to support advocacy efforts on research and innovation funding, circular economy initiatives, and sustainability within the wind energy sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead data-driven analysis of the circular economy landscape for wind energy, focusing on technology and supply chains.
    • Develop tools to monitor EU funding flows into the wind energy sector.

    • Collaborate with WindEurope’s Market Intelligence and Marketing teams on data collection and visualization.
    • Support advocacy and communication efforts related to EU funding and circularity initiatives.
    • Contribute to ongoing EU-funded projects within the Innovation team.

    Candidate Profile

    Mindset and Skills

    • Strong ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Passion for learning new skills and expanding knowledge.
    • Positive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.

    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Interest in storytelling and impactful communication.
    • Effective stakeholder management skills.

    Professional Experience

    • 1-2 years of experience in market research, consultancy, or trade associations.
    • Project management experience is a plus.

    Technical Skills

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.

    Language Skills

    • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
