Overview
The role of Institutional Sales Associate involves driving growth in the institutional business within the EMEA region at Blockchain, a global crypto company. Responsibilities include managing institutional accounts, fostering long-term revenue growth, and ensuring a strong client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard institutional prospects, including hedge funds, family offices, VCs, and high-frequency trading firms within the EMEA markets.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from cold outreach to KYC/onboarding and first trade execution.
- Maintain a high volume of activity with timely outreach and follow-up.
- Articulate the value of Blockchain.com’s suite of services, such as OTC Spot liquidity and Market Making services.
- Stay informed on market trends, including regulatory shifts and emerging blockchain protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring rapid response times and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with the Trading Desk and Legal & Compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and trade execution.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Business Development, or Trading, preferably in Traditional Finance or Crypto.
- Strong understanding of OTC trading, market-making mechanics, and the digital asset ecosystem.
- A resilient mindset with a “hunter” mentality.
- Effective communication skills to simplify complex blockchain services for institutional stakeholders.
