The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a part-time Clinical Advisor to support its Safety and Wellness Department in Oakland, California. This role focuses on providing psychosocial support, trauma-informed services, and mental health referrals to refugee and immigrant populations.
Candidates should have a graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field, with at least four years of relevant work experience and two years of program management experience serving vulnerable populations. Licensure as an LCSW, LMFC, or Psychologist in California is preferred. Knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic standards and experience supporting survivors of gender-based violence or trauma are also required. Fluency in English is necessary, and proficiency in other languages like Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrinya, Burmese, Spanish, or Amharic is advantageous.
The Clinical Advisor position offers an annual salary range of $95,642 to $100,079, pro-rated for part-time hours.
