    Overview

    The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) is hiring a Programme Management Officer (P-3 level) for its Data Analysis Unit in New York City. This role focuses on data analysis, programme management, and using evidence to drive organizational performance within the UN system.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Pension Administration data strategy.
    • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improving services.
    • Plan and coordinate projects within the Data Analysis Unit.
    • Track progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates to leadership.
    • Develop and monitor performance indicators and evaluate programme effectiveness.
    • Produce analytical reports to guide policy and operational improvements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and support cross-departmental data initiatives.
    • Assist with communication of insights and findings to senior management.

    Requirements

    Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field. A first-level university degree with additional relevant experience may be accepted.

    Work Experience: Experience in programme or project management, data analysis, policy analysis, or monitoring and evaluation. Experience within the UN system is an advantage.

    Language: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
