Overview

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) is hiring a Programme Management Officer (P-3 level) for its Data Analysis Unit in New York City. This role focuses on data analysis, programme management, and using evidence to drive organizational performance within the UN system.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and implementation of the Pension Administration data strategy.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improving services.
Plan and coordinate projects within the Data Analysis Unit.
Track progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates to leadership.
Develop and monitor performance indicators and evaluate programme effectiveness.
Produce analytical reports to guide policy and operational improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams and support cross-departmental data initiatives.
Assist with communication of insights and findings to senior management.

Requirements

Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field. A first-level university degree with additional relevant experience may be accepted.

Work Experience: Experience in programme or project management, data analysis, policy analysis, or monitoring and evaluation. Experience within the UN system is an advantage.

Language: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
