Overview

This position offers an exciting leadership opportunity as an IT Manager at RUBiS Asphalt Nigeria, focusing on overseeing the company’s IT strategy and infrastructure in Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage IT operations, infrastructure, and support services across the organization’s Abuja location.
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals in the Abuja office.
Oversee network administration, cybersecurity, and system performance at the Abuja facility.
Manage enterprise systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure services, all within the company’s Abuja footprint.
Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning relevant to Abuja operations.
Supervise IT teams and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management across Abuja departments.
Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners serving the Abuja base.
Plan and execute IT projects in Abuja, including system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security protocols specific to Abuja’s regulatory requirements.
Monitor and optimize IT budgets, resources, and operational efficiency, particularly for Abuja’s unique needs.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Information Technology or related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred for leadership roles.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT management, operations, or support leadership roles (Team Lead, Manager, or Director level), with time spent in Abuja being an advantage.
Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications, and cybersecurity certifications are desirable.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration, with experience in Abuja beneficial.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning for enterprises in Abuja is preferred.
