Job Title: Knowledge Base Consultant for STI Measurement in Africa (Research Coordination Area)
Location: Remote / Africa-based preferred
Closing Date: 13th July 2026
Contract Type: Part-time, volunteer with a daily fee of USD 100 for up to 15 days
The AfricaLics network is seeking up to four qualified consultants to assist in updating and developing the online knowledge base focusing on STI measurement in Africa.
The role involves compiling annotated resources, categorizing materials, verifying links, and providing recommendations to enhance the usability of the knowledge platform.
Successful candidates will work closely with RCA leads, ensuring the creation of high-quality, context-relevant materials to support research and teaching in innovation studies across Africa.
Established in 2012, AfricaLics aims to promote high-quality research on innovation and development in Africa.
The network explores how innovation processes influence social and economic progress at multiple levels, from firm to continental.
It supports the development of teaching materials and maintains an online knowledge base as a resource for researchers, educators, and policymakers.
