Overview
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, is seeking a Chronic and Infectious Diseases Implementer to support its global medical humanitarian operations. This role is offered as a 14-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical and operational support to field missions.
- Ensure delivery of context-adapted healthcare strategies.
- Strengthen integration of chronic and infectious disease services.
- Support development and updating of MSF policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to strategic frameworks in chronic disease and infectious disease programming.
- Engage in advocacy related to global health priorities.
- Offer guidance on best practices for managing HIV, TB, Hepatitis, and NCDs.
- Train and mentor field staff and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Qualified medical doctor with valid registration.
- Postgraduate clinical experience.
- Experience in managing chronic care programmes in humanitarian or low-resource settings.
- Strong clinical knowledge of chronic and infectious diseases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Yammer.
Benefits
- Salary range: £61,531.29 – £75,204.91 per annum.
- 14-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
- Hybrid working arrangement (2 days in office).
- 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
