Overview

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, is seeking a Chronic and Infectious Diseases Implementer to support its global medical humanitarian operations. This role is offered as a 14-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical and operational support to field missions.
• Ensure delivery of context-adapted healthcare strategies.
• Strengthen integration of chronic and infectious disease services.
• Support development and updating of MSF policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to strategic frameworks in chronic disease and infectious disease programming.
• Engage in advocacy related to global health priorities.
• Offer guidance on best practices for managing HIV, TB, Hepatitis, and NCDs.
• Train and mentor field staff and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Qualified medical doctor with valid registration.
• Postgraduate clinical experience.
• Experience in managing chronic care programmes in humanitarian or low-resource settings.
• Strong clinical knowledge of chronic and infectious diseases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Yammer.

Benefits

• Salary range: £61,531.29 – £75,204.91 per annum.
• 14-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
• Hybrid working arrangement (2 days in office).
• 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
