    Job Summary

    The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is seeking a Portfolio Coordinator for its Carbon Markets division. This is a full-time, remote position open globally, with a two-year initial funding period and the possibility of extension.

    The role involves building and maintaining a global portfolio of high-quality nature-based carbon projects, supporting project workflows, stakeholder communication, donor reporting, and system enhancement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Portfolio System Management

    • Maintain and enhance the portfolio system, ensuring accurate project data, tool updates, and KPI implementation
    • Support redesign and implementation of metrics, KPIs, and new tools for project tracking and carbon credit management

    Project Coordination and Support

    • Assist project teams with planning, milestone tracking, and workplan development
    • Facilitate communication and data sharing between the Global Carbon Markets team and project leads
    • Support in-person workshops, scheduling, and agenda building

    Reporting and Proposal Development

    • Contribute to donor reports and proposal writing for current and future carbon projects
    • Compile project information and support narrative development for funding applications

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to meet evolving program needs
    • Ensure high standards for data quality, organization, and documentation across multiple workstreams

    Candidate Profile: What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
    • Proven experience in report generation, data analysis, and project management
    • Skills in business process analysis and improvement
    • Familiarity with current technology and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams

    Desired Qualifications

    • Multilingual skills and cross-cultural experience
    • Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, CPMA)
    • Strong organizational skills and experience creating professional presentations for stakeholders

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary range for U.S. applicants: $65,000 – $91,000 annually, depending on location and experience
    • Salary for other countries will be determined based on local labor markets and pay ranges
