Overview
MedGlobal is seeking a Regional Programs Manager to lead and oversee program implementation across multiple countries. This remote role involves supporting project execution, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies, and fostering partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in designing, planning, executing, and evaluating programs.
- Supervise and mentor country teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Review proposals, concept notes, needs assessments, and reports for quality and compliance.
- Track program performance and implement corrective actions.
- Lead regular meetings with field teams to ensure accountability and knowledge sharing.
- Guide country representatives in assessing local needs and aligning interventions with humanitarian plans.
- Oversee data collection and needs assessments.
- Serve as the liaison between HQ and field teams.
- Promote regional learning by documenting best practices.
- Develop and manage program budgets.
- Provide oversight and support to resolve queries between field teams and departments.
- Mentor country representatives to achieve strategic goals.
- Supervise financial reporting from field offices.
- Maintain comprehensive databases of country-specific information.
- Design and deliver training programs for field staff.
- Ensure adherence to rigorous Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks.
- Oversee the application of monitoring and evaluation protocols.
- Support learning initiatives to inform future program strategies.
- Oversee all communication and engagement activities with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors.
- Lead participation in regional and local clusters and coordination forums.
- Represent MedGlobal at various forums.
- Guide the development of proposals and manage grant-related activities.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely submission of high-quality reports.
- Oversee the collection of necessary information from field partners.
- Ensure volunteer engagement in MedGlobal’s Resiliency Medical Missions (RMM).
- Supervise volunteer logistics, safety, and security protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, development studies, international relations, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of extensive NGO experience in multiple countries.
- Proven track record in program planning, management, and implementation.
- Experience managing personnel, supervising teams, and conducting training.
- Knowledge of public and community relations.
- Familiarity with proposal writing, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with data management systems and software applications.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data.
- Capacity to adapt to changing contexts and work under pressure.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Extensive understanding of UN, INGOs, and donor funding mechanisms and partnership systems.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
