Overview
NetHope is seeking a Communications Manager to lead storytelling and outreach efforts for their global humanitarian initiatives. This remote, full-time role involves developing campaigns, creating engaging content, and managing digital presence to enhance the organization’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted digital marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, website, paid media).
- Manage and grow NetHope’s social media presence with engaging, mission-aligned content.
- Support and execute Google Ad Grants and paid media campaigns.
- Optimize content discoverability through SEO strategies.
- Write and edit compelling content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and case studies.
- Develop basic visual assets and coordinate larger creative projects.
- Maintain and update web content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Serve as a central point for communication requests, managing workflows and content calendars.
- Support internal systems like templates, SOPs, and content libraries.
- Collaborate with different teams to align messaging and coordinate campaigns.
- Maintain and optimize CRM lists and Salesforce integrations.
- Manage inbound communication from social media and email, ensuring timely responses.
- Support the development of annual communications strategies based on performance data.
- Stay informed about trends in nonprofit marketing and digital communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrated success in digital campaigns, audience growth, and content management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, Canva, WordPress, and social media platforms.
- Experience with HTML, web design, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
