    Job Purpose

    To render secretariat support services to the Deputy Director General (DDG).

    Minimum Requirements

    • Three-year tertiary qualification in Management Assistant, Secretarial Studies at NQF Level 6, or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA.
    • Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.

    Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Knowledge of prescripts and policies.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent customer relations and telephone etiquette.
    • Computer literacy.

    • Problem-solving and report-writing skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    2. District Coordinator: Provincial Council on AIDS

    Reference Number: NWP/OOP/2026/30
    Location: Bojanala District
    Salary: R338 106 per annum (Level 07)

    Job Purpose

    To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the District Multi-Sectoral Implementation Plan (PIP) on HIV, TB and STIs.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Three-year appropriate tertiary qualification at NQF Level 6 or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
    • Valid driver’s licence.

    Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Knowledge of database management.
    • Knowledge of HIV strategies, legislation and policy frameworks.
    • Understanding of the South African and Provincial HIV and AIDS environment.
    • Knowledge of Public Service legislative frameworks.
    • Computer literacy in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Reporting and coordination skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Mobilise and coordinate stakeholders for multi-sectoral responses to HIV, TB and STIs.
    • Strengthen public-private partnerships.
    • Provide secretariat services to the District AIDS Council.
    • Monitor implementation of district interventions and plans.
    • Support and monitor civil society participation.
    • Coordinate implementation of the District Multi-Sectoral Implementation Plan.

    • Compile bursary payment reconciliation reports.
