Key Responsibilities
- Grant Management
- Overseeing the full grantmaking cycle
- Supporting proposal development and reviewing budgets
- Managing payments, reporting, and compliance processes
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Acting as a liaison with grantees and partners
- Providing guidance on processes and requirements
- Conducting site visits and participating in programme meetings
- Programme Development
- Supporting the design of grant selection processes
- Contributing to project planning and implementation
- Assisting in setting annual goals and budgets
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Working with internal teams across programme, operations, and grant management
- Supporting events, workshops, and external engagements
- Operational Support
- Managing consultant contracts
- Supporting logistics and programme administration
Requirements
- A degree-level qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in:
- NGOs
- Universities
- Think tanks
- Philanthropy or development organizations
- Strong skills in:
- Project and programme management
- Strategic thinking and analysis
- Communication and stakeholder engagement
- High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural competence
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Commitment to human rights, equity, and democratic values
- Fluency in English (additional languages are beneficial)
