Overview

Huawei Global Service Center Romania is seeking a skilled Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer for their team in Bucharest. This role involves RF design, network planning, and performance optimization to enhance the efficiency and quality of wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct RF design, planning, and optimization activities for GSM, LTE, and NR networks.
• Set up, calibrate, and analyze drive-test logs to gather network performance data.
• Develop RF models using techniques such as Okumura, Hata, and COST231.
• Analyze KPIs and implement strategies for network performance improvement.
• Optimize site and cluster configurations, including antenna settings, tilt, and power.
• Perform link budget and traffic analysis to support network planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Wireless, Radio, Telecom, Electronics, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of GSM, LTE, and NR (5G) technologies.
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and antenna systems.
• Fluency in English.
• At least 3 years of experience in network planning and optimization (preferred).
