    Overview

    Brex is the intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in more than 200 markets. The role of a Sales Development Representative involves prospecting and identifying new customers for Brex, partnering with Account Executives to showcase the value of Brex as a financial services solution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify growing companies that would gain value from Brex.
    • Prospect companies and educate them on Brex's corporate card and spend management software.
    • Navigate conversations to uncover business needs and position Brex as a solution.
    • Maintain an accurate log of activity in the CRM system.
    • Hit daily KPIs across various touch points: email, phone, social.
    • Correspond with leads via email to follow up and confirm appointments.
    • Provide feedback related to information prospects share that could assist in advertising/marketing.

    Requirements

    • Experience in a general sales role or a related field (hospitality, customer service, etc.).
    • The ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone.
    • A high sense of urgency and the ability to adapt in conversations.
    • Strong communication skills to articulate the value of Brex.
    • Work with Marketing Operations to optimize prospecting approaches.
    • A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes.
    • A desire to learn, grow, and launch a career in financial technology.

    Benefits

    Compensation for this role is expected to be between $73,535 - $82,170 CAD OTE. The starting wage will depend on various factors. As an hourly employee, overtime will be compensated, and equity and other forms of compensation may be provided.

    Employees can enjoy up to four weeks of fully remote work per year, while also working three days per week in the Vancouver office.

    Location

    This role is hybrid, requiring three days in the Vancouver office each week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
