Overview

The People Business Partner role at Fivetran involves supporting managers across North America by addressing performance issues, offering coaching, and enhancing team dynamics. This role is part of the new Regional HRBP team designed to help streamline people management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach managers on performance, feedback, development, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.
• Identify underlying issues that impact performance and provide guidance on addressing them.
• Handle complex employee relations and performance-related matters while balancing business needs and employee experience.
• Collaborate with managers to enhance team performance and engagement.
• Detect and analyze patterns in employee behavior and performance across teams.
• Work with Functional HRBPs to ensure alignment and share insights on manager and employee experiences.
• Assist in the development of the new HRBP model, optimizing processes and approaches.
• Explore the use of technology and AI to improve decision-making and reduce repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• Experience as a People/HR Business Partner or similar role with a focus on coaching managers.
• Strong knowledge of US employment practices and experience across multiple states is preferred.
• Proven ability to coach managers effectively.
• Good judgment and ability to navigate complex people-related issues.
• Agility in adapting to changing priorities.
• Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty in processes.
• Interest in understanding business goals to provide appropriate HR support.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams.
• Skills in detecting patterns in employee performance and behavior.
