Overview

The Roving Pharmacy Officer at INTERSOS ensures proper pharmacy stock management following good storage and distribution practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate information on stock, consumption, and medicine usage
• Receive, store, and dispense drugs and medical supplies
• Provide treatment advice and patient counseling
• Verify quantity and quality of received supplies
• Prepare supply requests and validate them with the Project Manager
• Maintain organized pharmacy stock and apply FEFO principles
• Prepare daily medical equipment and medications for treatment delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or PharmD)
• Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmacy practice
• Computer literacy and inventory management skills
• Proficiency in English; local working language is desirable
