    Overview

    Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and execution for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) within Elastic Security. This role involves addressing identity-based attacks, which are critical for modern Security Operations Centers (SOC).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ITDR within Elastic Security.
    • Manage the plan for non-human and AI agent identities, establishing behavior standards and detection methods.
    • Collaborate with threat research and detection engineering to focus on identity-specific threats.
    • Drive response and containment strategies, ensuring human oversight on important actions.
    • Work closely with enterprise customers to clarify product needs related to identity attacks.
    • Develop investigation and response experiences with the design team, integrating identity signals with other security data.
    • Stay informed on trends in the identity-security market and engage with analysts.
    • Act as a product expert and evangelize Elastic's identity capabilities through content creation.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for security products.
    • Strong knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and identity security.
    • Fluency in non-human identities such as service accounts and AI agents.
    • Deep understanding of AI and ML landscape including anomaly detection.
    • Ability to lead across a matrixed organization and drive execution.
    • Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
