Overview

The role seeks a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security's most strategic enterprise customers, responsible for prioritizing customer needs and enhancing product offerings. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships between the product organization and top-tier accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the enhancement request pipeline across multiple enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into products, addressing customer pain points.
• Identify patterns from strategic accounts to develop successful products and broader market capabilities.
• Influence core product roadmaps based on validated customer patterns.
• Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior customer stakeholders, providing roadmap updates and maintaining relationships.
• Prioritize customer requirements using structured frameworks and data-driven judgment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to write actionable requirements.
• Support product resource needs in sales processes and contractual negotiations.
• Create tracking systems and artifacts to ensure visibility for stakeholders.
• Advocate for balanced customer needs while maintaining product direction.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, including 4 years in B2B enterprise software.
• Experience managing enhancement requests across enterprise accounts.
• Hands-on knowledge of security operations platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, XDR).
• Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
• Technical credibility with a strong understanding of engineering requirements.
• Proficiency in structured thinking and decision-making.
• Experience in working with AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
