    Overview

    The Principal Product Manager will be the primary product voice for Elastic Security's strategic enterprise customers. This role emphasizes understanding and managing enhancement requests from large enterprise accounts, ensuring product direction is coherent and aligned with customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts.
    • Translate customer requirements into shipped products.
    • Identify patterns across accounts to shape successful products and partnerships for the market.
    • Feed validated customer patterns back into product roadmaps.
    • Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior customer stakeholders.
    • Prioritize customer-sourced requirements using structured frameworks.
    • Partner with product and engineering to write actionable requirements.
    • Navigate the balance between customer expectations and internal roadmaps.
    • Create tracking and visibility artifacts for enhancement requests.
    • Advocate for customer needs while maintaining market perspective.

    Requirements

    • 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software.
    • Hands-on knowledge with security operations platforms like SIEM, SOAR, and XDR.
    • Experience managing enhancement request pipelines at scale.
    • Strong executive presence in customer interactions.
    • Technical credibility in writing detailed, actionable specifications.
    • Cross-functional leadership experience across multiple teams.
    • Structured thinking and a proactive bias for closure.
    • Comfort with AI-augmented workflows.
    • Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
