    Overview

    Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the XDR (Extended Detection and Response) and exposure management capabilities within its Security Solutions division. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the strategy and delivery of XDR solutions that effectively address security challenges across various domains.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own XDR strategy and delivery across cross-domain detection and response, including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
    • Lead the expansion of Elastic's XDR into exposure and vulnerability management, handling features like patch management and device control.
    • Integrate XDR with attack surface and cloud posture, utilizing those signals for prioritization.
    • Partner with the Entity Analytics team to enhance exposure prioritization.
    • Serve as the product voice with senior stakeholders, including CISOs and VPs of Security Operations.
    • Keep track of the competitive landscape and translate insights into actionable strategies.
    • Work closely with engineering leads to produce clear requirements and ensure alignment with threat research.
    • Create artifacts, such as roadmap trackers and decision memos, to enhance visibility for stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
    • Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or broader security operations.
    • Deep understanding of exposure and vulnerability management principles.
    • Solid grasp of analytics and threat landscape, with familiarity of AI security as a plus.
    • Technical credibility to earn respect through quality requirements.
    • Executive presence to advocate for products at the C-suite level.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
    • Experience leading in a remote-first organization with demonstrated autonomy and judgment.
