    Overview

    Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Principal Product Manager for XDR and exposure management within its Security Solutions team. This role involves overseeing the convergence of detection-and-response capabilities with exposure management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own XDR strategy and delivery across detection and response domains, including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
    • Lead the expansion of Elastic's XDR into exposure and vulnerability management, including features like patch management and host firewall management.
    • Integrate signals from attack surface and cloud posture into XDR and exposure management processes.
    • Collaborate with the Entity Analytics team to enhance asset criticality and exposure prioritization.
    • Serve as the product voice with senior customer stakeholders, delivering roadmap direction.
    • Analyze the competitive landscape to inform product strategy and direction.
    • Work closely with engineering leads to write clear and actionable requirements.
    • Create artifacts such as roadmap trackers and decision memos for stakeholder visibility.

    Requirements

    • 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
    • Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or security operations.
    • Understanding of exposure prioritization and vulnerability management.
    • Familiarity with analytics and the current cyber threat landscape.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
    • Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success functions.
    • Proficient in using AI tools as part of the workflow.
    • Demonstrated leadership in a matrixed organization.
