    Overview

    Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Principal Product Manager to oversee XDR and the exposure and vulnerability capabilities within its Security Solutions department. This role involves managing the convergence of detection-and-response products and exposure risk, addressing challenges in the current cybersecurity landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own XDR strategy and delivery across cross-domain detection and response, including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
    • Lead Elastic's XDR expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, focusing on features such as patch management, advanced device control, and remediation workflows.
    • Integrate signals from attack surface and cloud posture into prioritization processes.
    • Collaborate with the Entity Analytics team to inform exposure prioritization.
    • Serve as the product voice for senior customer stakeholders, including CISOs.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to provide differentiated direction.
    • Create clear requirements for engineering teams based on real threat research.
    • Produce artifacts for stakeholder visibility without necessitating meetings.

    Requirements

    • 7–10 years of product management experience, preferably 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
    • Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or broader security operations.
    • Understanding of exposure and vulnerability management and prioritization techniques.
    • Comprehension of current cyber threat landscape and analytics techniques.
    • Technical credibility to work effectively with engineering teams.
    • Comfortable engaging with C-suite and VP-level customer stakeholders.
    • Experience working across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success functions.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence within matrixed organizations.
    • Ability to adapt to various projects and work styles.
