Overview

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for XDR and exposure management within their Security Solutions team. This role involves overseeing XDR strategies and capabilities to enhance detection and response in security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the XDR strategy and delivery across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network detection and response.
• Lead the expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, including features like patch management and remediation workflows.
• Integrate signals from attack surfaces and cloud posture into the XDR framework.
• Collaborate with the Entity Analytics team for exposure prioritization.
• Serve as the product voice with senior stakeholders, providing roadmap direction.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape in security solutions.
• Write clear and actionable requirements for engineering teams.
• Create informative artifacts for stakeholders to provide visibility into product direction.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7–10 years in product management, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or security operations.
• Understanding of exposure and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with analytics and threat landscapes in cybersecurity.
• Technical credibility and executive presence for stakeholder engagement.
• Proven management skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization.
• Flexibility in working styles and collaboration across functions.
