Overview

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for XDR and exposure management within its Security Solutions team in Switzerland. The role involves leading the strategy and delivery of XDR processes and ensuring effective exposure and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own XDR strategy and delivery across cross-domain detection and response.
• Lead Elastic's XDR expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, including features such as patch management and host firewall management.
• Integrate attack surface and cloud posture inputs into product development rather than developing separate products.
• Collaborate with senior customer stakeholders to deliver roadmap direction.
• Analyze the competitive landscape in the security market to provide differentiated direction.
• Work with engineering leads to write clear and actionable product requirements.
• Create key artifacts for visibility into product development for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or broader security operations.
• Understanding of exposure prioritization and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of the analytics and data science techniques relevant to cybersecurity.
• Strong communication skills with C-suite and VP-level executives.
• Experience collaborating across product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
• Ability to lead in a matrixed organization and adapt to various business needs.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance work efficiency.
