Program Manager Contingent Workforce @Instacart

Overview

Instacart is transforming the grocery industry and invites individuals to share their passion for food. The company is looking for a Lead Contingent Workforce Program Manager to oversee the growth and governance of its contingent workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a fully operational program for the contingent workforce, including governance frameworks and standard operating procedures.
• Manage a trusted and well-governed supplier network, handling onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Refine and operationalize worker classification and tenure management policies in collaboration with Legal and Accounting.
• Facilitate organizational adoption of the new contingent workforce model through communications and training.
• Drive the program's roadmap, including international expansion and platform enhancements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or workforce management.
• Experience managing vendor or supplier relationships.
• Strong process development skills and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
