Overview

Talent Lab Limited is seeking a Program Officer for a full-time position in Abuja, Nigeria, on behalf of a Non-Governmental Development Organization focused on improving human life, particularly in the prevention and control of Neglected Tropical Diseases.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, execute, and oversee program activities across Niger and Taraba States.
Ensure effective performance tracking and reporting.
Translate annual program workplans into state-specific implementation roadmaps with clearly defined milestones and accountability structures.
Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and state ministries, local government authorities, and implementing partners.
Identify operational inefficiencies within program implementation and develop corrective action plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of three to five years of experience working in non-governmental organizations or donor-funded project environments.
Strong experience managing multi-state or regional programs.
Knowledge of donor requirements (e.g., FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, Global Fund).
