    Internship Overview

    Key Objectives of the Internship

    Strengthening Sponsor Relations

    The intern will assist in:

    • Sponsorship correspondence management
    • Child profile updates
    • Record maintenance and database support
    • Monitoring sponsorship deliverables
    • Supporting communication between sponsors and enrolled children

    Enhancing Program Documentation and Visibility

    The role includes:

    • Capturing photographs and videos of project activities
    • Developing success stories and human-interest features

    Core Responsibilities

    Sponsor Relations Support

    The intern will work closely with Program and Sponsorship Officers to:

    • Support child and household enrolment processes
    • Maintain sponsorship records in the CAMEL system
    • Monitor sponsorship correspondence quality
    • Ensure compliance with ChildFund sponsorship standards
    • Track delivery of sponsor-related commitments

    Program Implementation Support

    Responsibilities include:

    • Supporting management of the Nairobi Metropolitan Program WhatsApp Channel

    • Drafting short stories and activity summaries
    • Coordinating content submissions with the Country Office communications team

    The role requires adherence to ChildFund branding guidelines and communication standards.
