    The organisation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research & Insights Advisor to support the delivery of a major multi-country research project focused on women entrepreneurs’ access to finance in the UK, Mexico and Vietnam.

    The Research & Insights Advisor will work closely with the Head of Research & Impact to deliver high-quality applied research and generate actionable insights for policymakers, programme teams, funders and financial-sector stakeholders.

    Job Title: Research & Insights Advisor
    Location: Remote or Hybrid in London (1 day/week)
    Closing Date: 21 June 2026
    Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Part-Time (0.5 FTE)
    Salary: £22,848 (£45,696 FTE equivalent)

    This is a hands-on research role requiring strong quantitative and qualitative research expertise, excellent analytical judgement and the ability to communicate evidence clearly to non-academic audiences.

    The successful candidate will contribute to the Foundation’s wider research portfolio while ensuring all outputs are methodologically robust, accessible and impactful.

    Key Responsibilities

    Research Design & Delivery

    • Support the development of research questions, methodologies and data collection tools
    • Design and review surveys, interview guides and focus group protocols
    • Ensure research tools are methodologically sound, unbiased and contextually appropriate
    • Collaborate with consultants and external partners to maintain quality and rigour

    Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Collect, clean, validate and analyse qualitative and quantitative datasets
    • Identify inconsistencies, analytical gaps and data quality issues
    • Produce research reports, briefs, blogs and evidence summaries
    • Translate findings into clear and actionable insights for varied audiences
    • Strengthen narrative flow, accessibility and data visualisation in outputs

    Quality Assurance & Research Oversight

    • Review consultant and partner outputs for methodological quality and analytical accuracy
    • Provide constructive feedback to strengthen research deliverables
    • Ensure final outputs meet agreed standards with minimal revision required

    Project & Stakeholder Management

    • Develop and manage research project timelines and deliverables
    • Coordinate activities across multiple teams, countries and stakeholders
    • Support externally commissioned research processes

    • Manage consultant relationships and monitor delivery standards
    • Work closely with communications and partnerships teams to maximise research impact

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    Essential Criteria

    Applicants should demonstrate:

    • Significant experience in applied research using quantitative and qualitative methods
    • Strong experience designing survey instruments and research tools independently
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities

    • Strong written communication and report-writing skills
    • Experience managing research projects from planning through delivery
    • Experience working with consultants or externally commissioned research

    • Strong stakeholder coordination and organisational skills
    • Excellent data visualisation and presentation abilities
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

    Desirable Criteria

    The following experience will be advantageous:

    • Research experience related to entrepreneurship, gender or access to finance
    • Experience working on multi-country research projects
    • Experience within international development contexts
    • Familiarity with low- and middle-income country environments
    • Understanding of data collection challenges in resource-constrained settings

    Eligibility Requirements

    Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

    Recruitment Process

    Shortlisted candidates will:

    1. Complete a short hiring task during the week beginning 29 June 2026
    2. Attend interviews during the weeks beginning 6 July and 13 July 2026
