    Overview

    Onelife Initiative is seeking to engage five highly experienced consultants for a research assessment on school re-entry opportunities for married and pregnant girls across five key Northern Nigerian states.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Framework Development: Design a robust assessment framework and methodology tailored to the specific socio-cultural dynamics of the target states.
    • Field Research: Execute qualitative and quantitative data collection, including Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and In-depth Interviews (IDIs).
    • Data Synthesis and Reporting: Analyze findings to produce a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations for policy advocacy.
    • Stakeholder Validation: Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to ensure findings are culturally sensitive and aligned with development goals.

    Requirements

    • Advanced degree in Education, Gender Studies, Sociology, Public Policy, or a related field.
    • Proven track record in conducting educational research or gender-based assessments in Northern Nigeria.
    • Deep understanding of barriers to female education and state-level educational policies.
    • Fluency in English and local languages (Hausa) pertinent to the target states is highly desirable.
