Overview

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is seeking a skilled Data Analytics and Visualization Consultant to support its global Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) portfolio, contributing to global development by transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Extract, clean, and analyze datasets from various sources.
Develop visual outputs such as charts, graphs, dashboards, and visual summaries.
Identify hidden trends and insights beyond standard reporting.
Translate technical findings into accessible formats like one-page briefs and learning notes.
Create a visual map of global CSE interventions and improve data accessibility.
Support Communities of Practice (CoPs) and contribute to knowledge-sharing platforms.

Requirements

Advanced degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, R, or Python.
Ability to translate complex data into clear visual insights.
Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
