SANRAL is seeking a highly organized Administrative Coordinator to provide responsive administrative and secretarial support to the Ethics Officer and the General Manager of Risk Management.

GRADE: C1
The successful candidate will ensure efficient office management, coordinate meetings and travel, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to uphold SANRAL’s operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Administration and Office Management
- Provide proactive support to the Ethics Officer and General Manager.
- Manage filing, documentation, and incoming correspondence.
- Coordinate facilities-related requirements such as laptops and access cards.
Coordination
- Arrange travel and coordinate diaries for managers.
- Oversee report submissions and facilitate communication between teams.
Meetings
- Prepare agendas in collaboration with meeting chairpersons.
- Take accurate minutes and distribute them promptly.
Compliance & Stakeholder Liaison
- Ensure submission deadlines are met.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Handle general inquiries related to the functions.
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Office Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant administrative experience
Advantageous Qualifications
- NQF Level 7 qualification
Technical Competencies
- Accuracy in recording decisions and tracking resolutions
- Experience with electronic document/records management systems
- Ability to draft, format, and proofread reports and submissions
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to coordinate procurement processes
- Capable of prioritizing tasks under shifting demands
- Conducting basic desktop research and preparing summaries

- Occasional travel between SANRAL provincial offices may be required.
