Overview

The Senior Backend Engineer - Databases - Loki Query role at Grafana Labs involves working on their composable observability platform, which integrates metrics, logs, and traces. This position is focused on building and maintaining telemetry databases and offers a remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence the roadmap and your own career objectives.

Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred; Python, C, C++, Rust also relevant).
• Experience in delivering projects from concept to customer delivery.
• Experience with developing cloud software or systems engineering.
• Ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable software.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• Experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with on-call operations/SRE tasks or infrastructure as code.
