    Two Rivers Platinum Mine is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals (54%) and Impala Platinum (46%), managed by African Rainbow Minerals.

    The mining operation is located on the farm Dwarsrivier, approximately 35 kilometres southwest of Burgersfort in Limpopo, South Africa.

    The Senior HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources Generalist functions within assigned operational areas while ensuring effective workforce planning, policy compliance, employee support, recruitment management, and stakeholder engagement.

    The position reports directly to the HR Coordinator.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Managing HR generalist functions within assigned business units
    • Ensuring labour deployment aligns with approved budgets
    • Coordinating recruitment processes for vacant positions

    • Managing recruitment for A-C Band positions
    • Advising employees and management on HR policies and procedures
    • Ensuring compliance with company recruitment and engagement procedures
    • Maintaining alignment of VIP and SACO HR systems

    • Processing labour movement changes on internal systems
    • Managing employee bonus allocation and reporting accuracy
    • Coordinating employee medical examinations and induction processes

    • Submitting monthly bonus reports to finance for payroll processing
    • Calculating employee acting allowances for payroll processing
    • Handling escalated employee relations matters and HR queries
    • Managing employee records and personnel files

    • Conducting daily, weekly and monthly compliance audits
    • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior HR team members
    • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Performing additional HR administrative duties when required

    Minimum Qualifications

    Applicants should possess:

    • Matric / Grade 12 qualification
    • National Diploma in Human Resource Management (NQF Level 6)

    Experience Required

    Candidates must have:

    • Minimum 2 years of working experience within the mining industry or mining environment
    • Previous experience in HR administration and labour relations functions
