Overview
Webflow is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building code-native Webflow, which facilitates a seamless integration between visual and code-based workflows. This role involves both team leadership and hands-on technical involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the technical and product direction for making Webflow code-native.
- Lead the integration of coding agents into the Webflow building experience.
- Own the developer experience of working with Webflow in code, from core primitives and APIs to tooling and feedback loops.
- Develop a coherent roadmap for foundational platform work and customer-facing capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams across Webflow.
- Engage in architectural design reviews and prototyping.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performing technical culture.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams building developer products or platforms.
- Strong technical depth in areas such as compilers, code generation, or developer infrastructure.
- Experience with AI or agentic systems.
- Ability to turn ambiguous technical problems into usable systems.
- Leadership style that emphasizes technical standards and team development.
- Curiosity and openness to growth in emerging technologies like AI.
