    Overview

    Webflow is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for building code-native Webflow, enabling seamless transitions between visual and code-based workflows. This role emphasizes technical leadership and hands-on contributions in a growing remote-first organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set the technical and product direction for making Webflow code-native.
    • Lead the integration of coding agents into the Webflow building experience.
    • Own the developer experience of working with Webflow in code, from core primitives and APIs to tooling and feedback loops.
    • Transform emerging problem spaces into coherent roadmaps.
    • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams.
    • Remain technically engaged through architecture, design reviews, prototyping, and hands-on contributions.
    • Hire, coach, and develop engineers while fostering a high-performing technical culture.

    Requirements

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
    • 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams building developer products, platforms, or complex product surfaces.
    • Strong technical depth in areas like compilers, code generation, or developer infrastructure.
    • Experience with AI or agentic systems is a plus.
    • Proven ability to convert ambiguous technical challenges into usable systems.
    • Capable of balancing long-term architecture with immediate shipping pressures.
    • A leadership style combining high technical standards with strong coaching and development.
    • Curiosity and openness to growth in emerging technologies.
